Shipping Policy

At UPSC STORE, we prioritize the secure and timely delivery of your essential UPSC and State PCS study materials across India. This policy provides detailed information regarding our fulfillment process, shipping options, and procedures for handling common issues.
1. Order Processing and Fulfillment
1.1. Processing Time
- All confirmed orders are typically processed and prepared for dispatch within 1 to 2 business days (Monday to Saturday, excluding national and public holidays).
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST on a business day are usually processed starting the next business day.
1.2. Communication
- Order Confirmation: You will receive an immediate email confirmation detailing your purchase and billing information.
- Shipment Notification: Once your order is dispatched and scanned by the courier, you will receive a second email notification confirming shipment. This email will contain your unique Tracking Number and a direct link to the courier partner’s tracking portal.
- The tracking number may take up to 24 hours to become active and update on the courier’s system.
2. Shipping Rates and Costs
2.1. Shipping Charges
- Fixed Rate (Below Threshold): For all orders with a total cart value below ₹999, a fixed shipping fee of ₹60 will be applied at checkout.
- Calculation: Shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight, volumetric weight, and the delivery destination (pincode). This is mainly applicable to any express shipping option chosen (if available).
2.2. Free Shipping Offer
- We offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders with a total cart value of ₹999 or above (excluding any applied discounts). This benefit is applied automatically at the checkout screen.
3. Estimated Delivery Timelines
Delivery timelines are estimates and commence from the moment your order is dispatched from our facility.

Please Note:
- These are estimated delivery times. Actual delivery may vary due to factors outside our control, such as unforeseen logistical delays, courier issues, or public holidays.
- We currently ship exclusively to addresses within India. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses.
4. Delays and Exceptions
While we strive to meet the estimated timelines, delivery schedules are subject to exceptions:
- Unforeseen Delays: Delays may occur due to extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, courier service disruptions, political unrest, or large-scale logistical backlogs. We will communicate any significant delays to you via email.
- Non-Delivery: If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, you will be responsible for the reshipment costs.
- Order Changes: Once an order is placed, changes to the shipping address or contents may cause a delay in processing. We cannot guarantee address changes once the order has been processed for dispatch.
5. Damages and Lost Packages
5.1. Procedure for Damaged Shipments
- Inspection: Upon receipt, please inspect the external packaging. If it appears severely damaged, notify the courier agent and make a note on the delivery receipt if possible.
- Reporting: If the products inside the package are damaged, you must contact us via email within 24 hours of delivery.
- Evidence: Send clear photographs of the damaged packaging and the damaged item(s) to team@upscstore.com, along with your Order Number.
- Resolution: Upon verification, we will arrange for a replacement shipment at no extra cost, or issue a full refund as per our Refund and Returns Policy.
5.2. Lost Packages
- If your tracking status shows “Delivered” but you have not received the package, please check surrounding areas, neighbors, and security desks first.
- Report a genuinely lost package to us within 48 hours of the stated delivery time. We will initiate a formal investigation with our courier partner, which may take 5–7 business days. We will provide a resolution (replacement or refund) once the investigation confirms the package is lost.
