At UPSC STORE, we strive for your complete satisfaction with your preparation materials. We understand that issues can arise, and this policy is designed to be clear and fair regarding order cancellations, returns, and refunds.

1. Order Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order under the following conditions:

  • Pre-Dispatch Cancellation: You may request to cancel your order within 4 hours of placement or before the order has been processed and dispatched from our facility, whichever comes first.
  • Cancellation Process: To cancel, please email us immediately at team@upscstore.com with your Order Number in the subject line.
  • Refund for Cancellation: If the cancellation request is successfully approved before dispatch, a full refund will be initiated immediately to your original payment method.

Note: Once an order is processed, packed, or handed over to our shipping partner, it cannot be cancelled. In such cases, the Return Policy (Section 2) will apply.

2. Returns and Replacement Policy

We offer a 7-day return and replacement policy only for products that meet the criteria below. The 7-day period is calculated from the date the product was delivered to you.

A. Eligible Reasons for Return (Mandatory Conditions)

A return or replacement request will only be accepted for the following reasons:

  1. Damaged/Defective Product: The item received is physically damaged or contains printing defects (missing pages, illegible text).
  2. Wrong Product Delivered: You received an item different in subject, title, or edition from what was confirmed in your order.
  3. Missing Components: Key components (like attached booklets, CDs, or test papers) that were listed in the product description are missing.

B. Condition of Returned Items

All returned items must adhere to the following strict conditions:

  • Unused Condition: The product must be unused, unread, and in the exact condition you received it.
  • Original Packaging: Must be returned with all original packaging, covers, price tags, stickers, and any accessories.
  • No Marks: The product must not have any writing, highlighting, stains, tears, or signs of wear and tear.

C. Non-Returnable Items (Exceptions)

The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

  • Digital Products: E-books, PDFs, online subscription keys, access to online test series, or any item delivered electronically.
  • Used Items: Any product that shows signs of use, highlighting, or damage caused by the customer.
  • Bulk/Custom Orders: Orders placed in large quantities or customized material packages.
  • Promotional Items: Free items, gifts, or products sold during a ‘Final Sale’ or deep discount promotion.

3. Return Procedure

To initiate a return or replacement, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at team@upscstore.com within 7 days of receiving your delivery.
  2. Provide Details: Include your Order Number, the name of the Item(s) you wish to return, and clear Photographs/Videos showing the defect or damage.
  3. Return Authorization: Once we verify the issue, we will send you an email authorizing the return and provide instructions for the reverse pickup.
  4. Packaging: Securely package the items in their original condition and include a copy of the original invoice/proof of purchase.
  5. Reverse Pickup: We will arrange for a reverse pickup from your delivery address. Please keep the package ready.

4. Refund Processing

  • Inspection: Once the returned item is received at our facility, it undergoes a quality inspection.
  • Approval: If the return is approved, we will process the refund. If rejected (e.g., the product is found to be used), we will notify you, and the product will be shipped back to you at your expense.
  • Refund Method: The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used during the purchase.
  • Timeline: Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days after the return is approved. The time taken for the amount to reflect in your bank or card statement depends on your bank.
  • Shipping Costs: We will bear the return shipping cost only if the return is due to a defect or error on our part (as per Section 2.A). If a return is processed for any other reason, return shipping charges may be deducted from your final refund amount.
